Working with Authors

The people behind these stories have been such a joy to work with. Give me a tiny chick named Mercy, a spunky goose named Marvin, or an adventurous giraffe named Gigi and I’m off and running. Characters come to life, stories become pictures, pages find their rhythm, and before long, we’ve created a whole little world together.

True Food Guide

What began as a conversation about Sarah’s remarkable journey became the Living Free True Food Guide, a 28-page publication bringing her story, insights, and practical resources together in one beautifully designed place.

About the Maker

I’m a BFA-trained artist and designer, with a double major in Fine Arts and Graphic Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. My work may wander happily between books, illustration, photography, drawing, and design, but there’s professional training underneath it all. For books and publications, I work in Adobe InDesign to create polished, print-ready layouts.

Watercolor, ink, drawing, hand-lettering, botanical studies, fine botanical photography, and one-of-a-kind pieces created by hand and imagination.I have an obsession with nature, botanicals in particular. Here are a few of my favorites.
